MISSION
MHSOAC's mission is to provide vision and leadership, in collaboration with clients, their family members, and underserved communities, to ensure Californians understand mental health is essential to overall health. MHSOAC provides oversight for eliminating disparities; promote wellness, recovery and resiliency; and ensure positive outcomes for individuals living with serious mental illness and their families.
PARTNERSHIP
The MHSOAC, with X Sector Labs and California Forward, created a strategy to develop, test and scale new approaches to service delivery, with the goal of significantly improving mental health services and outcomes. Together, they are working toward this goal through creating an Incubator for Mental Health Innovation by imagining new ways to solve old problems effectively and efficiently to help people in their community.
