“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.”

California Volunteers Lab
On March 31, X Sector Labs held an Innovation Lab to engage a diverse set of cross-sector stakeholders in co-creating potential solutions and strategies that unite Californians through service and volunteerism and tackle our state’s greatest challenges.
We had 40+ leaders come together to create greater understanding of the synergies between encouraging Californians to serve, providing meaningful service opportunities, and creating a positive volunteer experience. From this, we derived actionable ideas that leverage cross-sector collaborations and strengthen California’s ability to engage its citizens in volunteering and service.
